About Awesome Claude Prompts
What this site is
Awesome Claude Prompts is a small, free tool for people who already use Claude and want a well-structured prompt for a common task without writing it from scratch. You choose a task, fill in a few fields, and copy the assembled prompt into your own Claude conversation.
The site is static. It has no accounts, no database and no server-side code, and it never calls a model. What you copy is plain text that you paste wherever you use Claude.
How the templates are structured
Every template follows the same few rules. Long material you paste goes first, inside a named tag such as <document> or <diff>. The task and the instructions come after it. Each prompt says what a good answer looks like: its format, its length and its order.
Where it matters, a template asks Claude to point out missing or unclear information instead of guessing. Templates avoid inflated role-play and do not promise any particular result.
Each template page explains why the prompt is shaped the way it is, gives a fictional example input, suggests follow-up messages, and lists common mistakes.
Where the guidance comes from
Template pages link to the specific public documentation pages that support their structure.
These templates were written with AI assistance and are based on Anthropic's public prompt engineering documentation. They have not been benchmarked.
Limits worth knowing
A prompt is only part of the result. The same prompt can produce different answers on different days, plans and models, and the quality of what you paste matters more than any template.
XML-style tags help Claude tell your material apart from the instructions, but they don't stop instructions hidden inside pasted text from influencing the answer. Review what you paste.
What this site does not do
It does not run Claude, show model output, store prompts on a server, or offer accounts, ratings or comments. It does not use analytics or advertising, and it does not put your input into links you could share.
